Hi, I’m Shikha.
I’m a service designer and aspiring scuba diver based in New York City.
Currently, I lead a product design/research team at Nava — we design accessible, simple and effective government products to benefit the public.
Recently, I led experience design at Deloitte Global and the Deloitte Greenhouse, working with talent locally and internationally. I co-designed the first municipal accelerator of its kind, serving operating NYC-based small businesses in media and entertaintment with the NYC Department of Small Business Services. I’ve been honored to be named the NYC Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity’s first Design Champion, leading to consulting on strategic initiatives for NYEDC’s women.nyc leadership team.
With my license in social work and psychology, I am committed to build engaging and thoughtful experiences for people. My hope is to enhance a community’s current context and create a thriving ecosystem and human experience — in “URL” and “IRL.”
